Bappa is worshiped by applying the ‘Vasantik Utee’ (fragrant paste of sandalwood) which is made of authentic sandalwood powder and fragrances, specially ordered from Mysore. As a part of the customs, during this Utsav, Bappa is showered with about ten million flowers of Mogra. The temple premises are filled with the mesmerizing fragrance of sandalwood and Mogra flowers. The sanctorum, walls, pillars, and all the parts of the temple are beautifully decorated with Mogra flowers. Flowers in this service will be offered to Lord Ganesha by the Trust from the honorarium of the devotees.

सालाबादप्रमाणे, खास म्हैसूरहून मागवलेल्या सुगंधी चंदनाच्या 'वासंतिक उटी'ने बाप्पांची पूजा होते. याच परंपरेचा भाग म्हणून या उत्सवात मोगऱ्याच्या जवळपास १ कोटी फुलांनी बाप्पांचा अभिषेक होतो. मंदिराच्या परिसरात मोगऱ्याच्या फुलांचा व चंदनाचा सुगंध दरवळत असतो. मंदिराचा गाभा, भिंती व स्तंभांसहित संपूर्ण परिसर मोगऱ्याच्या सुंदर व सुगंधी फुलांनी सुशोभित केला जातो. ही फुले भाविकांनी सढळ हस्ते केलेल्या दानाच्या माध्यमातून ट्रस्टतर्फे बाप्पांच्या चरणी अर्पण केली जातात.
